  5. Shareware and registration rules
  6. --------------------------------

  8. This program meets the specifications of the shareware-concept.
  9. If you find this program usefull and have worked with it a while 
  10. (30 days at maximum), you are obligated to register it. Use the 
  11. registration form in "register.txt" for that. Once registered you
  12. are frequently made aware of version 1 updates, either by mail or 
  13. email. You are then also entitled to download these updates for free,
  14. or get them sended to you at your cost. Registered users also benifit
  15. from discounts on any major version changes (which will be, if 
  16. released, version 2).

  18. If you register MidiBase, we will assume that you are doing so having 
  19. tested the shareware version and ascertained that it's suitable for 
  20. your hardware and requirements. We cannot provide refunds for shareware 
  21. registration if you subsequently change your mind.

  27. MidiBase is copyrighted to DNote Software both in design and concept.
  28. You are not allowed to distribute registered versions to other parties.
  29. You are allowed though to distribute the unregistered version as long
  30. as all the contents are left exactly the way Dnote SW distributes it.

  32. Dnote Software does not assume responsibility for any damage or loss
  33. caused by the use of this program, however it comes down.

  35. All the registered trademarks used herein are registered to whoever it 
  36. is that owns them. This notification is given in lieu of any specific 
  37. list of trademarks and their owners, which would not be as inclusive 
  38. and would probably take a lot longer to type.

  58. This version of MidiBase is still beta, which means that it is not guaranteed
  59. to be 100% bug free. Feel free to send in any bugs you may have found, 
  60. comments and suggestions to the address stated below.

  66. - A PC with Windows 3.1 or latter installed.
  67. - Some kind of music playback device

  71. Installation
  72. ------------

  74. No special installation program is required. Just unzip the archive
  75. to a directory you have created for MidiBase (make sure you keep all
  76. these enclosed files in this directory though). More advance features
  77. can be configured when you start MidiBase for the first time.

  79. To uninstall MidiBase just start uninstal.exe from the directory
  80. you have installed MidiBase to.
